Ahli manager Manuel Jose said that Mohamed Zidan would be a ‘massive addition’ to his side’s frontline.

“I heard that Zidan would like to join Ahli and this makes me happy of course. He would be a massive addition to our frontline,” Jose was quoted by Qatari newspaper Al-Arabi.

Zidan has hardly been playing for Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund so far this season, following a cruciate ligament operation last year.

The Egypt striker repeatedly said he would like to carry on his European career, but conceded that he would consider joining Cairo giants Ahli in the future.
